<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain drive body and an internal combustion engine having such a drive chain body.SOLUTION: A chain drive body (4) is constituted such that there are provided a plurality of links (10), each of the links comprises a pair of pivot pins (11) that are parallel to each other and spaced apart from each other in a lateral direction and at least three strips (12) that are parallel to each other and arranged to be adjacent to each other, a wear of a chain (9) having a plurality of links (10) is managed by a detector (20) for detecting at least one damage of the strip (12) and sending a signal instructing a replacement of the chain (9) itself.</p> |
