PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the end of an insulation sheet from being peeled due to repetition of charge and discharge of a secondary battery, thus exposing the outer surface of a battery container.SOLUTION: A square secondary battery includes a rectangular parallelepiped battery container, and an insulation sheet 110 being stuck to the outer surface of the battery container. The insulation sheet 110 has an insulating base material layer and an adhesive layer, and is stuck along the long side of the wide side face 101a of the battery container, so as to cover the wide side face 101a. The start-of-winding end 110s and the end-of-winding end 110e of the insulation sheet 110 are arranged, with a gap, on one of a pair of narrow side faces 101b. An adhesive tape 120 having an insulating base material layer and an adhesive layer is provided to cover the narrow side face 101b between the start-of-winding end 110s and the end-of-winding end 110e of the insulation sheet 110, so as to overlap the start-of-winding end 110s and the end-of-winding end 110e. |
