<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric which is used for providing nonconventional clothing and bedding through which inner cotton can be seen, has such a high level of transparency as to allow inner cotton to be seen, has strength necessary for side cloth of the clothing and the bedding, and further has low air permeability.SOLUTION: The woven fabric is formed of a synthetic multifilament including a flat monofilament. A fineness of the synthetic multifilament is 5-44 dtex. A monofilament having a flatness of 4-9 in an amount of 80 mass% or more is used in 100 mass% of the synthetic multifilament. At least one face of the woven fabric is subjected to calendering. The woven fabric has a visible light transmittance of 30-70% and a cover factor of 1,300-2,490.</p> |
