An air conditioner of the present invention includes a suction panel with an air suction port; a heat exchanger which is arranged in front of the air suction port and which heat-exchanges air with refrigerant; an orifice which is arranged in front of the heat exchanger and which includes a suction hole; a front panel which forms a ventilation passage with the orifice and includes an air discharge port; a ventilation fan which rotates between the orifice and the front panel; a sub discharge port which includes a motor rotating the ventilation fan and a condensed-water discharge unit where condensed water is guided from a drain fan receiving the condensed water dropped from the heat exchanger. A drain hose is connected to the condensed-water discharge unit. The condensed-water discharge unit is arranged on the lower side of the orifice. The sub discharge port where some air ventilated from the ventilation fan flowing toward the condensed-water discharge unit is formed on the orifice. Some of indoor air sucked by the air suction port is discharged to the drain hose successively through the sub discharge port and condensed-water discharge unit. Therefore, the air conditioner is advantageous to minimize displeasure might be occurred when external air is discharged after flowing backward via the drain hose. |
