<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system that mixes incineration ash containing radioactive materials with acid aqueous solution to elute the radioactive materials into the acid aqueous solution and then adsorbs the radioactive materials from the acid aqueous solution to remove them.SOLUTION: A method for treating incineration ash containing radioactive materials mixes incineration ash containing radioactive materials with acid aqueous solution to elute the radioactive materials into the acid aqueous solution and separates incineration ash whose content of the radioactive materials is a set reference level or less due to this elution from the acid aqueous solution into which the radioactive materials have been eluted. Then, in a treatment tank in which a plurality of stages of cloth radioactive material adsorption members bonded with Prussian blue are vertically placed, the method puts the acid aqueous solution, into which the radioactive materials after the separation of the incineration ash have been eluted, into contact with the cloth radioactive material adsorption member upward sequentially from the cloth radioactive material adsorption member placed at the bottom to make the acid aqueous solution pass through them, and discharges it from an upper part of the treatment tank.</p> |
