<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by reducing the number of necessary operations in order to allow a user to easily find an operation button desired to be operated.SOLUTION: The washing machine comprises: a water tub 13 arranged inside a body 12; a rotary drum 14 arranged inside the water tub 13; a touch panel display 38 formed by bonding a transparent electrode 33 to a transparent plate 31; a liquid crystal panel 34 for displaying patterns and characters, the liquid crystal panel 34 being arranged to be superposed on the touch panel display 38; and a control means 36 for inputting each of various settings by a signal from the touch panel display 38. The control means 36 displays a first image on the liquid crystal panel 34 after power on. The first image includes a plurality of setting buttons arranged in the upper section, and a touch button displayed in the middle section corresponding to one of the setting buttons. Thus, it is possible to move immediately up to a course setting image which is frequently used, and operability is greatly improved.</p> |
