PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a high-quality stereoscopic vision corresponding to the relative inclination between a display unit and a human face even when the inclination has changed.SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display device according to an embodiment comprises: the display unit capable of displaying plural parallax images with a parallax therebetween, as a stereoscopic image; an acquisition unit for acquiring inputted images; an estimation unit which estimates the inclination of the eye-eye direction of an observer relative to a reference direction previously set to the display; a generation unit which generates from the inputted images the parallax images having the parallax in the eye-eye direction, using the relative inclination; and an output unit which causes the display unit to display the parallax images.
