According to the present invention, the lower body length and body type of a driver are estimated and the minimum opening degree and an optimal opening degree of a vehicle door are calculated based on the lower body length and body type of the driver. Thereafter, a lateral space between a vehicle and an obstacle positioned on the lateral side of a driver seat of the vehicle is measured when parking or stopping the vehicle and it is determined whether the driver can get on or off within the lateral space based on the minimum opening degree and the optimal opening degree of the vehicle door. |
