PURPOSE: A composition containing NELL2 for preventing or treating ER stress-associated diseases is provided to relieve ER stress. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating ER stress-associated diseases contains NELL2(neural tissue-enriched epidermal growth factor-like repeat domain-containing protein) as an active ingredient. NELL2 has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1. A composition for preventing or treating the diseases contains a vector containing a promoter and a polynucleotide encoding NELL2, which is operatively linked to the promoter. |
