PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail coping A which has good appearance and also improves maintainability, and to provide a handrail shrinkage prevention tool capable of making the appearance of the handrail coping A good and also improving maintainability.SOLUTION: The handrail coping A is formed by covering a surface of a coping core material 3 including a side opening 2 in which a bracket 1 is inserted, in a longitudinal direction with a covering material 5 while locking lock parts 4 at both side edges of the side opening 2 in the longitudinal direction and by connecting the lock parts 4 to the coping core material 3 so as not to move in a length direction. A handrail shrinkage prevention tool 7 prevents the covering material 5 which covers the surface of the coping core material 3, from being shrunk in the length direction, by locking the lock parts 4 at both the side edges of the side opening 2 of the coping core material 3 of which the cross section is substantially C-shaped. The handrail shrinkage prevention tool 7 is configured by including a fixed part 9 which is fixed to an inner wall 8 of the coping core material 3, and a piercing part 6 which pierces the lock parts 4. |
