The collection method of the radioactive substance including the absorption step of adsorbing the radioactive substance using the radioactive substance adsorbent contacts the radioactive substance adsorbent with a water liquid or gas including the radioactive substance to adsorb the radioactive substance. The collection apparatus includes an adsorption bed having the radioactive substance adsorbent held by carriers containing moisture and gas supply means for supplying the gas including the radioactive substance to the adsorption bed.
