PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device that enables imaging at a magnification more than or less than a prescribed magnification at which imaging is possible by imaging means included in the portable electronic device.SOLUTION: A portable electronic device comprises: an enclosure that constitutes a portable electronic device body; a lens cover that is arranged at one part of the enclosure; imaging means that includes optical means having a lens arranged to be inside the lens cover and opposite the lens cover, and a solid state imaging element capturing image information by photoelectrically converting a subject image formed by the optical means; and display means that is capable of displaying the image information of the subject imaged by the imaging means as a captured image. On the lens cover, a liquid reservoir part is provided that is capable of forming a pseudo lens by reserving a liquid on a subject side of the lens. |
