PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and strongly fix the main body part of a position detector for an actuator to the housing of the actuator to reduce the load and time of a work of assembling the main body part into the housing.SOLUTION: A position detector for an actuator includes: a position detection mechanism 21; a main body side fixing mechanism 22; and a probe side fixing mechanism 23. When the position detection mechanism 21 is assembled into an actuator 1, a main body part 24 is inserted from an end part through-hole 12a of one end part of a housing 12, and a probe 25 is inserted from an end part through-hole 12b of the other end part of the housing 12 into which an output part 11 is inserted. The main body side fixing mechanism 22 includes: a protrusion 28; a main body holding part 29; and a protrusion fixing member 30. The main body holding part 29 is formed with a groove 29a which can be engaged with a protrusion 28 in the axial direction of the housing 12 according as the main body part 24 inserted into the housing 12 is relatively rotated with respect to the housing 12 with a center position in the radial direction as a center, causing the protrusion part 28 to be fitted thereinto. |
