PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven brake device of a vehicle that detects pressing force to a friction member, controls an electric motor on the basis of the detection result and can be downsized.SOLUTION: A motor-driven brake device includes: a first spherical member QM1 that receives reactive force of pressing force from one of a pressing member PSN and a shaft member SFT and forms a spherical surface KJM1 on an end surface; a second spherical member QM2 in which rotational motion to a rotational shaft sfj of the shaft member is constrained, and which slidably contacts with the spherical surface of the first spherical member and receives reactive force of pressing force from the first spherical member; and acquisition means FBA that detects distortion of the second spherical member and acquires pressing force on the basis of the distortion.
