<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize both reduction in clogging of nozzles for chromatic color ink and prevention of degradation in image quality in monochromatic printing.SOLUTION: In a printing control device printing a monochromatic image by discharging a black ink from an ink discharge nozzle, chromatic inks as well as the black ink are discharged to a region in which a used amount of the black ink indicated by monochromatic image data for expressing the monochromatic image is equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold value. For the region, chromatic inks of different colors are discharged to positions that do not overlap.</p> |
