<p>The present invention relates to a method and a system for identifying the occurrence of handwashing in a room provided with at least one entrance and exit access. The system comprises at least one access sensor installed in the room entrance and exit access, at least one handwashing facility located inside the room, at least one sensor for detecting when the handwashing facility has been actuated, a video camera oriented towards the room entrance and exit access and provided with an event memory and with a temporary memory, and data processing means which select the images recorded in the memory of the camera which correspond to the moments when an entrance event (E) was not followed by an actuation event within a predetermined period of time (k), and to the moments when an exit event (S) was not preceded by an actuation event within a predetermined period of time (k).</p> |
