The present invention relates to a system for optimizing the usage of electricity, which provides convenience to users and simultaneously the optimization of the energy consumption by providing a method of operating an individual energy consumption device which is calculated in an optimization control system under conditions of the energy consumption transferred through a smart grid communications network in accordance with the characteristics of the individual energy consumption device for time delay and power distribution, and by operating the consumption device automatically without a direct control by the users.
