PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid stagnation of droplets in a return flow passage provided in a compressor housing.SOLUTION: A supercharger includes: an intake flow passage 10 into which a fluid is sucked from the outside of a compressor housing 6 by the rotation of a compressor impeller; an exhaust flow passage 13 which guides the fluid sucked from the intake flow passage and compressed by the compressor impeller to the outside of the compressor housing; an opening part 19 which is formed in a wall surface 6a of the compressor housing, and in which the exhaust flow passage is opened; a return flow passage 20 which communicates the exhaust flow passage with the intake flow passage through the opening part and returns the compressed fluid from the exhaust flow passage to the intake flow passage; and an air bypass valve which opens and closes the opening part. The height of a bottom surface 20a located on a vertically lower side, of the return flow passage descends from the exhaust flow passage toward the intake flow passage without ascending even once. |
