<p>The present invention relates to the field of video coding, and particularly to a search window slide method and a device therefor, so as to solve the problems of the low probability of a video image with large movement finding a target matching block, and low compressibility. The method in the embodiments of the present invention comprises: for a current macro block of a current frame, determining a corresponding search window in a reference frame, and searching for a target matching block in the search window; if a block to be matched of which partial data is located outside the search window is found, according to the location of the block to be matched of which partial data is located outside the search window, determining the location of a search window corresponding to the next macro block; and after completing the search of the target matching block of the current macro block, according to the location of the search window corresponding to the next macro block, sliding the search window, so as to obtain the search window corresponding to the next macro block. According to the method, search windows are slid in various directions, thereby avoiding the problems that the search windows can only be fixedly slid and the probability of finding the target matching block is low, and improving the probability of finding the target matching block and the video compressibility.</p> |
