A power conversion system with a storage battery diagnosis or regeneration function according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises: a power converter converting the input AC power into a DC power; a storage battery manager for managing charge or discharge of N storage batteries; and a controller for controlling the storage battery manager. The storage battery manager comprises an individual managing unit for individually managing each of the N storage batteries; and a collective managing unit for collectively managing the N storage batteries. According to the power conversion system with a storage battery diagnosis or regeneration function of a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the lifespan of a storage battery can be extended by diagnosing the chemical degradation which directly influences the lifespan of the storage battery, and by regenerating the storage battery. |
