PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid injection head capable of reducing friction speed to follow wiping of a nozzle surface of a liquid injection head.SOLUTION: A wiping device wiping off a nozzle surface 39 of a liquid injection head 22 uses rubber wipers 59 of a first cleaning unit individually to wipe off a nozzle surrounding region 37 in the form of a concave portion exposed to an opening 36a of a head cover 36 on a nozzle surface 39 ((b) and (c) in figure). Next, a cloth wiper 61 of a second cleaning unit is used to wipe off entirely the nozzle surface 39 ((c) and (d) in figure). At this time, a pressing roller 67 constituting the cloth wiper 61 presses a portion of a cloth sheet 50 corresponding to a protruding surface 40. This can prevent the cloth wiper 61 from being strongly struck on the nozzle surrounding region 37. |
