PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of decreasing influence of a stress caused by thermal extension of a branch pipe by a more compact structure.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger includes: a heat exchange unit 2 providing heat exchange between refrigerant circulating inside and an external fluid; a plurality of hairpin tubes 3 provided on an end of the heat exchange unit 2 and each serving as either an outlet or an inlet of the refrigerant circulating in the heat exchange unit 2; a plurality of connection pipes 4 each having one end connected to each of the hairpin tubes 3; and a header pipe 5 to which the other end of each connection pipe 5 is connected. Each of the connection pipes 4 includes a bypass portion bent to have a larger pipe length than a linear distance connecting each hairpin tube 3 to the header pipe 5. |
