PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of the bubbles 48 of a filler 42 on the display of an image.SOLUTION: The display device comprises: a circuit board 10 comprising a plurality of layers including an optical control element 16; an opposing substrate 30 facing the circuit board 10; a seal 38 provided so as to surround the optical control element 16 between the circuit board 10 and the opposing substrate 30; and a filler 42 with which a sealing space 40 surrounded by a sealing surface comprising at least the circuit board 10, the opposing substrate 30, and the seal 38 is filled. The sealing surface has a recessed corner surface 44 formed by the inner surface of the seal 38 and a projecting surface 46 formed of at least one of the circuit board 10, the opposing substrate 30 and the seal 38, the projecting surface 46 being adjacent to the corner surface 44. |
