PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a laser brazing method of a vehicle roof that can stabilize a brazing quality of a connection part between a roof panel and a side outer panel.SOLUTION: In a first step, a roof panel 14 and a side outer panel 16 are disposed to form a V-shaped groove 30 in the vehicle body front view, by an inclination wall bent to a vehicle body lower side at an outside end in the vehicle body width direction of the roof panel 14, and by the inclination wall bent to the vehicle body lower side at an inside end in the vehicle body width direction of an upper end of the side outer panel 16. Next, in a second step, a laser beam L is irradiated while supplying wire-like brazing materials 32 sequentially and continuously to the inner surface of the groove 30 from a vehicle body rear side to a vehicle body front side (see arrows A, B). Then, in the second step, the irradiation axis direction of the laser beam L from a laser torch 42 is inclined to the vehicle body rear side toward the vehicle body downside, and the angle of the irradiation axis direction to the vertical direction in the vehicle body side view is increased gradually. |
