PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a button structure of a shift lever knob capable of reducing burden of an operator by achieving light and smooth push operation of the button.SOLUTION: The button structure of a shift lever knob is configured so that a rod 4 is moved downward toward a shift lock release position by pushing a button 2 of a knob 1. The button 2 is supported so as to rotate around a rotation axis 11 by the knob 1, and a pinion 13 which has the same axis as that of the rotation axis 11 on the button 2, and a rack 14 which engages with the pinion 13 is provided. With linkage of downward movement of the rack 14 caused by the positive rotation of the pinion 13 caused by pushing the button 2, a rod 3 is moved downward toward the shift lock release position. |
