PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for real-time determination of signals to be summed among a set of received signals.SOLUTION: In the method for real-time determination of the number of signals to be summed among signals representing image portions which are respectively received from a set of detectors belonging to the same optical sensor, the detectors are organized in a matrix formed of a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns, and the signals to be summed are received on the same column. The method allows determination of the time required to acquire the signals to be summed, by the detectors. The method includes a step of determining representative values of a modulation transfer function of at least one lens and/or at least one mirror placed upstream of the optical sensor and signal-to-noise ratios of the image portions obtained from the detectors, on the basis of a location of one of the detectors and signals representing the image portions obtained from the detectors. The representative values are dependent on the number of signals to be summed. The method includes a step of searching for the number of representative values and the time maximizing the representative values. |
