PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust characteristics of sound output by a receiver.SOLUTION: A hearing support device according to an embodiment generates an induced magnetic field based on a sound signal from a magnetic induction loop, obtains the sound signal from the induced magnetic field via a receiver positioned in the induced magnetic field, and outputs a sound represented by the sound signal, thereby allowing a hearer wearing the receiver to hear the sound. The hearing support device comprises change means, input means, and control means. The change means changes characteristics of the sound signal and outputs the sound signal to the magnetic induction loop. The input means inputs an instruction about change in sound characteristics caused by an operation by the hearer. The control means controls the change means so as to change characteristics of the sound signal according to the instruction input by the input means. |
