<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to prevent fine dust from being generated, a control method thereof, and a program.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes: an image forming part which forms an image on a recording medium by a fixing part which fixes a color material transferred on the recording medium by heat; and an air supplying part which supplies air for cooling the fixing part. The image forming apparatus determines whether physical quantity, which increases according to the increase in the amount of fine dust generated when the fixing part fixes the color material, has exceeded a predetermined value, and controls the air supplying means to reduce the amount of fine dust when the physical quantity has exceeded the predetermined value.</p> |
