Disclosed is a cylinder liner, wherein the outer surface of the cylinder liner (1) is provided with a plurality of protrusions (2), the protrusions are of &OHgr; shape (3), P shape (4) or conical shape (5), the number of protrusions of &OHgr; shape, P shape or conical shape takes up 50-99.5%, 0.5-30%, 0-20% of the total number of the protrusions (2), and the distribution density of the protrusions (2) on the outer surface of the cylinder liner (1) is 15-65 per cm2. The surface of the protrusions (2) of the cylinder liner (1) is of an arc shape, has a relatively large contact area, and has a recess portion available for the filling of an outer aluminium sleeve to increase the radial bearing capacity thereof, thus effectively improving the snapping force between the cylinder liner and the outer aluminium sleeve and preventing the cylinder liner from separating from the cylinder block. Further disclosed is a preparation method for this type of cylinder liner (1). |
