The receiver has a synchronous switch (4) including two non-bridging changeover switches, which connect a cathode of a photodiode (2) with a positive voltage source in a clock, and an anode of the photodiode with a negative voltage source in another clock. An electrode of the photodiode unattached to the sources is connected with an integration capacitor (6) so that the photodiode is polarized in a reverse direction, and the capacitor is charged in the both clocks with a photoelectric current of the photodiode, where the current is multiplied with plus 1 and minus 1 in the respective clocks.
