PURPOSE: A structure for a LNG storage container and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing costs by minimizing the amount of used metal with excellent low temperature property. CONSTITUTION: A structure for a LNG storage container comprises an inner shell(110), an outer shell(120), a support(130), and an insulating layer(140). The inner shell stores LNG. The outer shell surrounds the exterior of the inner shell. The support is installed in a space between the inner shell and the outer shell to support the inner shell. The insulating layer is installed in the space between the inner shell and the outer shell to reduce heat transfer. |
