PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device having an easy access to a work space between a secondary transfer roller and an intermediate transfer belt, and capable of securing a wide work space beyond a rotation radius of the secondary transfer roller while having a rotation center part pivotally supported on an image forming apparatus side.SOLUTION: A secondary transfer unit 103 is rotated around a rotation center hole 106 provided in a housing frame, while the rotation center hole 106 being engaged with a rotation center part 103b, to determine a position of a secondary transfer roller with respect to a secondary transfer opposing roller 7. When the rotation center part 103b engaged with the rotation center hole 106 is separated from the rotation center hole 106 in association with opening operation of an exterior door 101, the exterior door 101 supporting the secondary transfer unit 103 can thereafter be opened wide to the outside. |
