PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die device for forging in which a large die, for example having a diameter of as large as 1 m, can be easily attached to or detached from a die holder.SOLUTION: For at least one of an upper die 10 and a lower die 20, a pin insertion hole 13(23) is provided so as to pass through a die holder 12(22) for holding the die and form a boundary between the die holder and the die accommodated in the die holder on the way. The pin insertion hole 13(23) is a stepped structure such that it comprises a thick hole part 13c(23c) that extends from one opening and includes the boundary-forming section B and a thin hole part 13d(23d) that is thinner than the thick hole part and extends to the other opening. A die-fixing pin 15(25), which is detachably inserted into the pin insertion hole 13(23) without passing through the pin insertion hole, comprises an insertion part 15a(25a) that is inserted into the thick hole part of the pin insertion hole and a non-insertion part 15b(25b) that is not inserted into the pin insertion hole. |
