PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device transmitting a response message based on the present state, and to provide an operation method thereof.SOLUTION: An operation method of an electronic device includes the steps of: determining whether or not a received message has been confirmed within a preset time; if the received message has not been confirmed within the preset time, determining whether or not the contact address of an electronic device which has transmitted the message is a preset contact address; otherwise, transmitting an automatic response message to the electronic device which has transmitted the message, while reflecting a preset automatic response message state. |
