A peritoneal dialysis fluid which is in a sterilized state and which is composed of both an acidic first fluid that contains only two components, namely icodextrin and sodium chloride, with the content of sodium chloride being 0 to 2.34g/L, and an alkaline second fluid that contains an alkaline pH regulator, wherein: the pH of the first fluid after sterilization is 5.0 to 5.5; that of the second fluid after sterilization is 6.5 to 7.5; and that of a mixture obtained by mixing the first and second fluids after sterilization is 6.0 to 7.5. According to the present invention, the stability of icodextrin in an icodextrin -containing peritoneal dialysis fluid during heat sterilization and storage subsequent thereto can be improved to a maximum level, and a peritoneal analysis fluid having a pH which is close to the physiological range can be provided. |
