The present invention relates to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a remote debugging method and system, capable of realizing remote debugging across local area networks. The present invention configures in the remote debugging system a forwarding proxy, a debugger proxy, and a debuggee proxy; the forwarding proxy forwards the information transmitted from the debugger proxy and the debuggee proxy according to a stored mapping table, thus realizing information transmission between a remote debugging client terminal and a remote debugging service terminal located in different local area networks. |
