PURPOSE: A side valve gate nozzle is provided to extend the lifetime because the damage or the malfunction relative to a valve pin or a valve pin lift driving unit is low and the transfer distance of the valve pin is relatively small so that the abrasion is less. CONSTITUTION: A side valve gate nozzle (1) comprises a main body (3), a nozzle tip, and a valve pin. A runner (7) penetrates through the inside of the main body and the nozzle tip. The valve pin has a through-hole forming a round route connecting a side gate (13) in which is formed in the front lower end and an opening unit (14) in which is positioned in the rear lower end. The side gate comes in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the nozzle tip and is closed when the valve pin is lifted. A part of the side gate is positioned in the lower part of the nozzle tip and is opened when the valve pin descends. |
