PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool circuit elements by natural convection generated within a circuit housing part.SOLUTION: A motor compressor 1 comprises a motor 10, a scroll compression mechanism 11, a housing 12, a circuit part 40, and a circuit housing part 30 which stores the circuit part 40 and is integrated into the housing 12. On the circuit part 40-side of a barrier plate 32, which is standing in the vertical direction for separating the interior of the housing 12 from the circuit housing part 30, a heat sink 36 which is to be brought into contact with semiconductor elements 43 on a power substrate 41 facing the barrier plate 32, is protrusively formed. In the heat sink 36, a cylindrical surface-shaped bottom face 36L and a cylindrical surface-shaped top face 36H are formed such that an upper end part and a lower end part gradually reduce their widths so as to reach tips T. |
