PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device or the like capable of improving operational feeling.SOLUTION: The input device or the like includes: an input member; a detection member for detecting a direction according to an input operation for the input member; an arrangement member in which the detection member is arranged; and a data processing section capable of outputting output data in a predetermined output direction by processing detection data detected on the basis of the detection member. The detection member is arranged on the arrangement member so that the direction which the detection member can detect is rotated at a predetermined rotation angle to the predetermined output direction, and the data processing section performs arithmetic processing of a rotation conversion for rotating in a direction opposite to a rotation direction at the predetermined rotation angle for the detection data and outputs a result of the arithmetic processing as output data.
