PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic sheen-imparting reversible thermochromic adhesive tape having a high marketability and capable of imparting a visually recognizable metallic sheen color having a sufficient luminance and a method for manufacturing a metallic sheen-imparting reversible thermochromic adhesive tape.SOLUTION: The provided metallic sheen-imparting reversible thermochromic adhesive tape 1 is obtained by providing, in proper order on the rear surface of a transparent tape substrate 2, a metallic sheen layer 3 in which a transparent flat metallic sheen pigment is bound within a binder resin in a dispersion state; a reversible thermochromic layer 4 in which a reversible thermochromic microcapsule pigment encapsulating a reversible thermochromic composition including (i) an electron-donative coloring organic compound, (ii) an electron-receptive compound, and (iii) a reaction medium determining the temperature at which a coloring reaction of the former two components is induced is bound within a binder resin in a dispersion state; and an adhesive layer 5. A method for manufacturing the metallic sheen-imparting reversible thermochromic adhesive tape is also provided. |
