摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a generator in such a manner that operation of a propulsion motor is prevented from being restricted by the lack of power caused by transient increase of a propulsion motor load which is generated when accelerating the propulsion motor, or load increase in high-speed operation or the like of the propulsion motor.SOLUTION: In an electric propulsion system including a hybrid power source formed from a storage battery 1(B) and a generator 5(G) charging the storage battery, in the case of operation while supplying power from the generator to a propulsion motor 11(M) rotating pusher propellers and charging the storage battery with a fixed current, when power of the propulsion motor is increased by any factor and total power to be supplied to the propulsion motor and the storage battery exceeds an upper limit setting value of generator output, control of the generator is switched from a constant current charging operation to a voltage control operation in accordance with a generator voltage setting value which is set on the basis of a battery charging power value calculated by subtracting power to be supplied to a power load from the upper limit setting value of the generator output.</p>
