A shifting device and a shifting method for a vehicle are provided. The shifting device for a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a shifting control unit moving shifting gears of an automatic transmission and a control unit controlling the shifting control unit to move the shifting gears of the automatic transmission to a null position. The null position is variously formed corresponding to each shifting gear.
