PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photochemical reaction system having COdecomposition technique at a high level of photoreaction efficiency.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment of the photochemical reaction system, COgenerating means 111 to generate CO; COabsorbing means 112 to absorb the COgenerated by the COgenerating means; and COreducing means 110 that includes a laminate having an oxidation catalyst layer 19 to oxidate HO to produce Oand H, a reduction catalyst layer 20 to reduce the COabsorbed into the COabsorbing means to produce carbon compound, and a semiconductor layer 17 which is formed between the oxidation catalyst layer and the reduction catalyst layer and which separates charges by light energy, and an ion transfer route to transfer ions between the oxidation catalyst layer side and the reduction catalyst layer side; are included. |
