PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an image communication method using the same, particularly suitable for generating one set of photos by a plurality of users.SOLUTION: When a user instructs to perform image joint processing, thumbnail image data is transmitted from an SNS server 200 to an imaging apparatus 100a. On receipt of the thumbnail image data, a connection side selection guide screen is displayed on a display unit 104. When the user selects a connection side through a touch panel 112, there is displayed a divided through image having the divided display of the thumbnail image and the through image. By an imaging instruction after the divided through image display, imaging operation is performed and image data obtained by the imaging and information indicative of the position of the connection side are recorded in a recording unit 106. |
