<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve of high durability, capable of reducing attachment of deposit on a fuel injecting portion, and to provide a method of easily and inexpensively processing a multiple hole-type injecting portion with inexpensive equipment, while improving surface roughness, reducing dispersion of shape, accuracy and surface roughness, and further improving productivity.SOLUTION: Surface roughness of a fuel injecting portion composed of orifices 54-59, and opening portions 54a-59a, 54b-59b is determined to be Rz 2μm. The opening portions are processed to be plastically-processed surfaces of surface roughness Rz 0.2μm or less by press processing, and then press processing is performed on bottom surfaces of the opening portions to form plastically-processed surfaces with surface roughness of orifice of Rz 0.2μm or less. Furthermore, when abrasion resistance of a nozzle is required, quenching processing is executed so that the surface of the injecting portion is finished to have the surface roughness of Rz 2μm.</p> |
