<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll forming method which facilitates machining, can reduce a machining cost, forms fine holes in a metal foil at prescribed layout and an aperture ratio, and removes dust, machining wastes, and fines resulting from environment or a machining process itself during machining, and also to provide the metal foil formed by the same.SOLUTION: A roll forming system performs continuous machining such as hole forming on a metal foil with thickness of 50μm or smaller by using a metallic forming roll with fine projections formed on its surface and elastic body receiving rolls each facing the forming roll while interposing the metal foil therebetween. In addition, the roll forming system brushes off machining waste and fines embedded in an elastic body of a first receiving roll immediately after machining by actions of a plurality of elastic fiber brush rolls rotating at high speed. Forward in a rotation direction of the forming roll, a plurality of receiving rolls are disposed and the plurality of elastic fiber brush rolls are further disposed to cope with half-cutting and to remove the machining waste, the fines and dust adhering to a foil surface.</p> |
