The invention relates to the use of anionic polymers containing carboxylate groups, sulfonate groups, and/or sulfate groups, wherein the anionic polymers are selected from the group comprising salts of the polymerizates of ethylenically unsaturated monomers, salts of the condensates of formaldehyde and naphthalene sulfonic acid and/or formaldehyde, phenol sulfonic acid, and urea, lignosulfonates, salts of carboxymethyl cellulose, and mixtures of the aforementioned salts, as an antistatic agent in coating agent compositions. The antistatic agent causes dust to adhere to the coating of the composition to a small extent. The compositions are used in particular in the interior of buildings. |
