<p>The present invention provides an information prompting method and a mobile terminal. The information prompting method comprises: periodically obtaining a communication record corresponding to a contact; calculating a weighted score of the contact according to the communication record; if the weighted score meets a preset condition, monitoring the communication record corresponding to the contact; and if a new communication record corresponding to the contact does not exist in a preset time length, carrying out a information prompt corresponding to the contact, so as to inform a user of the mobile terminal that the contact frequency between the user and the contact is low, so that the user strengthens communication with the contact according to personal demands. Therefore, information of communication records provided by the mobile terminal for the user is richer, thereby effectively improving the user experience.</p> |
