The high-pressure terminal (12) has a high pressure line and a pipe terminal that are configured to form a high-pressure channel (10) filled with highly pressurized fuel. A sealing element is arranged between the high pressure line and pipe terminal in a terminal portion. The sealing element is provided with a spring seal lens which is elastically deformable by the pressure of fuel in the high pressure channel, so that the high-pressure channel is sealed in the terminal portion. An independent claim is included for a fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine.
