PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time for being set in a fixable state, concerning a fixing device with a fixing member constituted of a belt member. SOLUTION: The fixing device includes: a fixing belt 61 whose heating layer is heated by electromagnetic induction, thereby toner is fixed on paper P; a pressure roll 62 which is configured to freely contact with/separate from the fixing belt 61, and comes into contact with the fixing belt 61 while pressing the fixing belt 61, thereby a nip part N is formed between the fixing belt 61 and the pressure roll 62; and an elastic member 64 which is arranged inside the fixing belt 61, and elastically deformed by pressing force from the pressure roll 62, to form the nip part N. The fixing belt 61 and the elastic member 64 are supported to form a void between an inner peripheral surface of the fixing belt 61 and an outer peripheral surface of the elastic member 64 by an end cap member, and both of the fixing belt 61 and the elastic member 64 rotate when rotation driving force is transmitted to the end cap member.
